IBEC is the Integrated Bioscience and Built Environment Consortium. IBEC works with global experts, scientists and researchers to partner with industry leaders and organizations to address contagious pathogens like COVID-19 in their buildings and shared environments. We make buildings and the people in them safer and healthier. By weaving together disparate technical disciplines and knowledge areas, we are able to provide real-world solutions that mitigate risk, liability and protect what matters most - people. We are creating a membership-based business model for private industries that provides access to up-to-the-minute scientific research and what it means for businesses and buildings as well as providing clear, simple actions for these organizations to take. Additionally, the membership platform would provide access to real-life experts to address Q&A and feedback to the scientific community as to barriers/challenges/confusion facing individual industries. Our collaboration goals would be to help create a clear business model and offering using market and competitive research for this membership model - which keeping in mind things like equity and inclusion so that we can ensure every business and organization that needs this information - can get it.
